Können Poetry Slammer*innen auch Rap? Geht es nach der 22-jährigen Liser aus Köln, kann die Antwort nur „Ja!“ heißen, liegen die Wurzeln dieser Newcomerin nämlich im Wettstreit der Dichter*innen. Dabei nahm sie, laut eigener Aussage, daran nur teil, „weil ich dachte, ich wäre nicht cool genug für Rap“.
Für die Kölner Underground-Szene ist Lisers Wechsel zweifelsohne ein Gewinn. Denn auf ihren verschiedenen Veröffentlichungen, die sie auf Streamingportalen wie Spotify online stellt , wechselt sie scheinbar spielerisch zwischen den unterschiedlichen Spielarten des modernen HipHop – verbindendes Element ist der Autotune-Effekt, welcher Lisers Sound entscheidend prägt und in jedem Song mal mehr, mal weniger zum Einsatz kommt. Während sie auf ihren EPs „Origami“ und „Scheiß Emanze“ (beide 2019) ruhigere Töne anschlägt, flext sie auf der „Easy Bangerz“-EP (auch 2019) zusammen mit dem aus Hamburg stammenden MC Zirkel um die Wette.
Auch ihre neuen Songs „Zu leicht“, „Tilidin“ und „Krank“ machen Lust auf mehr. Der Sound erinnert dabei entfernt an eine weirde Mischung aus Haiyti und Loredana – liest sich (vielleicht) zunächst sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, wird nach den ersten Hördurchgängen aber ziemlich geil. Wenn Lisers Entwicklung weiter so voranschreitet wie bisher, könnte ihr auf jeden Fall noch eine goldene Zeit in der deutschen Rapszene bevorstehen. Nicht umsonst gewann sie regionale Rapwettbewerbe wie den „Bring your own Beats“-Contest, woraufhin sie 2019 beim Juicy Beats Festival in Dortmund auftreten durfte. Liser freut sich über ihren Erfolg, wie sie dem Kölner Kulturmagazin choices.de erklärte: „Als Musikerin wahrgenommen zu werden, beweist mir, dass ich das nicht alles ins Leere hinein mache und das ist mir sehr wichtig.“
Inspiration für ihre Texte zieht die Kölnerin sowohl aus der Stadt, in der sie lebt, als auch aus den Menschen in ihrem Umfeld. So schreibt sie wahrhaft poetisch auf Twitter: „die menschen in meinem umfeld leben mit der gewissheit, dass jede dumme scheiss interaktion mit mir zu nem fickgeilen kacksong werden könnte und das finden die ghyle“. Na dann – wir warten auf weitere „fickgeile Kacksongs“. Lass uns nicht zu lange warten, Liser!
